Each shade is meticulously handcrafted from premium Birdseye Huon Pine veneers salvaged from the depths of Lake Gordon during the 1970s Gordon Dam construction. These historic logs were later processed into exquisite veneers, now transformed into elegant, glowing timber pendant lights that celebrate Tasmanian craftsmanship and sustainability.

Materials + Care
Every Axiom Creative Tasmania light is handcrafted using genuine Tasmanian timber veneer, carefully selected for its unique grain, colour and character. Because timber is a natural material, no two lights are ever identical. Variations in grain, figure, colour and texture are part of the beauty of the product and should be celebrated as evidence of its natural origin.
Over time, your light will continue to develop its own character. Like all natural timbers, exposure to light and the surrounding environment may result in subtle changes to colour and tone. This natural ageing process is expected and enhances the individuality of your handcrafted piece.
Shipping + Returns
All Axiom timber veneer lights are individually handcrafted to order and are not mass-produced. As each piece is custom made with care and attention to detail, please allow approximately 3–4 weeks from receipt of payment for completion and delivery/collection of your order. While this is our standard lead time, we always strive to exceed expectations wherever possible and will keep you informed throughout the production process.
